Buster Keaton (1895–1966) was a world-renowned actor, director, and comedian, renowned for his iconic silent films. His signature deadpan expression earned him the nickname "The Great Stone Face". He is considered the greatest actor-director in film history, with a 96-film stretch from 1920-1929. Keaton is the 7th greatest director according to Entertainment Weekly and the 21st greatest male star of classic Hollywood cinema, according to the AFI.
