While I was working on this oil painting. I decided to paint our three cats perched on the antique 35mm film camera, our oldest cat is on top, the queen auntie meow, she passed while I was completing this painting.

When she was a baby, someone had her front claws removed which made her overly aggressive, I expect it was a reaction to no longer having her primary weapons of defense. She escaped those people and found her way to our house.  She decided she now lived with us and never left.  We let her in and she went straight to our other cat's food bowl.  She ate her fill and fell asleep on top of the food bowl. It took years of love to calm her childhood trauma.
